Do You Use Information That You Purchase?

So my new purchase arrived today. I buy most of the ‘big ticket’ courses that are made, I go through some of them, but many sit and collect dust.

Some courses I did go through and found great success with are 7FigureCode and also ButterflyMarketingManuscript (Can get it free now, click to find out more) so it is time for me to set aside an hour a day to start going through all the other courses I haven’t used yet, starting with stomper. I will review it later once i have gone through it.

Question:

Do you make use of and take notes on info products that you buy?

Good question there Colin, would be interesting reading everyone’s answers.

My case, i actually would go both the ways. When some new book is released, i try to grab it very fast before anyone else does, so that i get it and could make good use from it. But it did not help me always. I have read a few books sometimes, and implemented the ideas shared in it.. and they were worth buying.
But sometimes some books are just for reading. Not all the information we buy is useful to use. A book once i bought was about making your online presence vast, but what i could read in it was only success stories and how a few big guys made their presence big.

So i can’t go in a single way telling that what we purchase is always helpful and worth using.

    Colin,
Here is my take. The more you know -if you are wise -you realize -the more you know you don’t know! Does that make sense? My point is lot’s of times we fail to recognize the difference between understanding something and knowing it. Some times it takes you reading, hearing or watching something over and over for it to really get through. I am a note freak -find it is easier to retain if I read it and write notes at the same time! But I like repetition – until it really sinks in.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard something and then I come to a “Light bulb moment” where it all makes a new kind of sense to me. So My answer is “Yes!” I drink it all in from beginning to end and refer back continually. I think listening to the audio side of things is good because you can do it during drive time and free time and it just gets further and further into your subconscious and super subconscious as well -when all that happens -you really get the KNOWING side of it!

  3. Karen, Wonderful to hear that you soak it all up, that is a needed trait for any aspect of life. I need to make a concerted effort to keep learning and advancing.

As you say the saying goes “The more you learn, the more you realize you have to learn more”

P.S – You should signup at http://www.mybloglog.com or http://www.gravatar.com so that your image thumbnail shows up ๐Ÿ™‚

The avatar comes from Gravatar Colin, when you check the source of your avatar image.

And yes, the saying “โ€œThe more you learn, the more you realize you have to learn moreโ€” comes true until you yourself are an expert in something ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Youre never a ‘true’ expert in anything. You may be considered an expert by people who know less on the subject then you, but even the person considered to be the leader in their field always has more to learn

Colin -here we go again (I am learning so much I never realized I needed to know -so here’s the question What’s the point, benefit and reason/s for the thumbnail thing and how to mybloglog and gravatar allow for this process – could you explain the step-by-step way of getting this done?

Chetan, you also appear to know a little something about thumbnails as well -can I ask for your suggestions here too?

  7. Yep, the thumbnail is to the left you see yours is the default blank, if you wanted either your image there, or a logo like the spiderweb one (i see that is the link you are using) then you go to http://www.gravatar.com and signup (fast and free) and then simply upload the image you want and it will display on your blog posts, like my CK image does, and the pic of chetan

I want to share with every one that my #s have gone up on google from nearly 5000 to 7110 in just the last 2 and a half to 3 weeks alone- so just to let you know I am taking your advice to heart and it is more than paying off for me now!
